This was great! The first time I've
made this dish with meat. My husband and grown son love it, we had some leftovers for lunch the next day

My grandmother came from the Avellino area.
Her version of this soup never had meat and i don't recall obions either- but she had beans ditalini, beef broth and bits of fresh tomatoes-it always tasted great
